Short 18th Street Studio is the the home and workshop of Mary Cassell. She produces unique, artistically designed, functional and sculptural pots from Starworks North Carolina stoneware clays and uses traditional Japanese glazes adapted to work in her gas fired kiln at cone 10-12.

The Artisans Studio Tour is an annual open studio tour, featuring high quality artisans and their work during the weekend of November 7 & 8, 2016. Some of Virginia’s finest crafts will be on display, including pottery, furniture, weaving, fabric design, jewelry, stained glass, wood turning, and quilting.
