Jane Angelhart
Painting portraits is Jane's passion and WAS her career until she got her hands in clay. In the past fifteen years she has developed a line of ceramics to tickle her funny bone and satisfy her curiosity. She uses mishima inlay to draw on the clay and then paints colors on the bisqued pieces before glazing them. Her inspiration comes from the music she is listening to as she creates the images, dreams, and years of life experience. You can see her work at Shockhoe Bottom Clay, Annie Gould Gallery, Noon Whistle Pottery and Earth, Fire, & Spirit Gallery.
